Today was an incredible day! In the morning we headed to the recording studio to record a new Blush song! Can't wait to share it with you guys!
After that we headed off for a quick sound check for tonight's performance at Crown Wine Cellars for Tony Tyler's farewell party. We then headed back to freshen up and change into our dresses for the night.
The party was really fun and enjoyable. I got to meet a lot of people and talked about art, sports, history and of course music! The food was good too - I ordered the mushroom ravioli and it tasted delicious! The performance was a success and the audience was great - they asked for two encores!!!
It was a really good day and put me in a good mood for the week!
Until next time...

Today, yoga was so fun! I've noticed that I'm becoming much more flexible and that I can hold a lot of the yoga positions for longer. I feel both mentally and physically stronger! (Ooo that rhymes)
After we had recording and then a vocal class. To end the day we went to Club Likuid to shoot a dummy demo-like music video for some of our songs. It was crazy - we had smoke and colourful lights!
What a busy and exciting day...until next time KTB :P

Hi Guys! Today we headed to Kelvin Avon's studio again to record our vocals for our upcoming gigs so that we have a track for rehearsals. I'm so excited for all the things that we starting to do and the people we are learning from. It's been so overwhelming and I'm feeling so inspired after all the concerts we've watched to really work that much harder everyday and push myself to grow!
Until next time

Love y'all!

Today was an amazing day! Last night we went for Taylor Swift's concert...OMG what a show!!! That girl is really a star, she knew how to get the audience and connect with them so well. Two thumbs up for Taylor...she looked hot too! Amazing outfit choices and her makeup really complimented her big blue eyes...I truly was inspired and moved by her concert and it really pumped me up for Blush's future...It made me realize its time to step my game up and become even more serious and work that much harder!
Besides that...had an amazing fitness session today and then after we had a few hours off, so the Blush sisters & I decided to run through our songs and dance moves to clear up anything that needed polishing and also wanted to refresh our minds so that we are consistently reminding ourselves of our choreographies and positions/formations. After that I had a one-on-one vocal workshop with a new coach called Sean; he was such a gentleman!!! He really taught me amazing things in just an hour's time. I love his style of teaching because he explains not just what and when we look for as singers and musicians, but the how's and why's which not many people tend to do.I felt such a difference after he explained why and how breathing techniques can effect and reduce the difficulty of projecting for example, long notes or high and low notes.
Afterwards we had dance class with Rock and was prepping for another song we are doing for a gig...After that I had gone to watch Burlesque with Victoria & Angeli...WOW Christina Aguilera's pipes and she is damn sexy!!! Now I'm totally going to try rocking the big long lashes and red lipstick look :P
Til next time :D

Tuesday was a really calm day after our crazy Monday night at the Janet Jackson concert. I worked with Ji Hae and Victoria to finish off one of our dance choreographies for our next gig's numbers and we managed to complete it - now its just a matter of polishing our moves and cleaning up formations and positions.
After dance, we had a vocal workshop which was really fun as we managed to practice both our gig's songs and had a run through of our own Blush tunes...the vocal instructor was amazing, he was listening by ear and playing along as we sung. We finished fairly early and so we just decided to jam out to some of the latest tunes that we were currently listening to..My two favourites were Bruno Mars' "Just the way you are" and Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream".
After that, the Blush girls went for a delicious chinese dinner with amazing sweet and sour chicken and dumplings...mmmm..It was really really cold though so I was dreading walking around the roads...My throat didn't feel that great and I was starting to feel quite feverish...
Until next time,
KTB :)

Today is my 19th birthday! Although I'm still sick from the flu and feeling very feverish, Blush got to go this amazing new recording studio and record with Kelvin Avon, who has worked with P.Diddy, Nelly and Jay-Z. We are working on a song that we will perform at a gig in March. After our recording session.
At night, us Blush sisters went to a pizza place for my birthday dinner with a Korean camera crew that wanted to capture “Blush” in action doing things like shopping, walking around the city; us being goofy and just having fun!
It was such a nice dinner! The food was great, the atmosphere was great, the company was great. My Blush sisters actually sang Happy Birthday to me in 4 PART HARMONY!!! I had such a good day and it ended really nicely after I got another cheesecake surprise with really delicious creamy vanilla ice cream.
Before I slept I closed my eyes and just smiled because I was so thankful and grateful for the people in my life…the blessings I have been given…and the opportunities that have come my way…I really hope my birthday wishes will come true…
Lots of Love

So…today I stayed in and took the day off from Blush activities because I was suffering from a nasty flu and fever. I stayed in to google Indian music videos from Bollywood movies on Youtube and also google-imaged many hot pictures of Bollywood actresses that I would love to meet, like Priyanka Chopra…Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai and many more. I came across a photo of Priyanka Chopra and it hit me how alike we looked! It reminded me of another photo I had taken at one of the Project Lotus finalists’ performances…so I put both windows together and snapped a picture from my phone. It’s WAYYYY TOOO coincidental how both our hair styles are updo’s, we are both wearing black and white stripped shirts…with a crop leather-like jacket (hers in gold, mine in black) and have something on the left side of our faces (hers was a nose ring connecting to her ear and mine was the headset).

Anyways, in the late afternoon, my mom came to visit me and we were watching the Zee TV Cine Awards of 2011 that were recently held in Singapore. Then, towards 9pm, I heard a strange knock on my apartment door. Someone saying they had my Blush schedule for the next day (which was going to be my 19th birthday). However, this was not the case…It was none other than my four blush sisters with a YUMMY BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE lit up with many candles and them singing Happy Birthday for me! It was so wonderful!!! My mom had actually liaised with them to surprise me and was acting so cool as if nothing was going to happen. It was such a nice surprise after feeling so bored and miserable for the day…I even got these really amazing cute presents in my favourite colour too!!!
It was such a fun day…I had to say it was one of the most memorable birthday eves I’ve ever had! Thank you to my blush sisters and most of all my wonderful and beautiful mom.
Lots of Love
